Based on the book of the same name by Armistead Maupin,
though for TV a new plot twist has been added: a dashing stranger who comes between Mrs.
Madrigal and Mother Mucca. The legendary screen idol known in the book as _____ ______
based on Maupin's friendship with Rock Hudson,
but in this series his name was changed to Cage Tyler.
In this series, which is set in 1981, Mary Ann is more ambitious, a gay Cuban refugee returns from the dead,
society columnist Prue Giroux falls in love with a homeless preacher with a sinister past
and a very cute doctor reenters Mouse's life.

Gebaseerd op het boek van Armistead Maupin,
maar er is voor TV een nieuwe draai aan het verhaal gegeven: een onstuimige vreemdeling
die tussen Mrs. MAdrigal en Mother Mucca komt. Het legendarisch filmidool die in het boek
aangeduid wordt met ______ _______ is gebaseerd op Maupin's vriendschap met Rock Hudson,
maar in de serie is zijn naam veranderd in Cage Tyler.
In deze serie, die speelt in 1981, is Mary Ann meer ambitieus, komt een homoseksuele
Cubaanse vluchteling terug uit de dood, wordt society-columniste Prue Giroux verliefd
op een thuisloze priester met een sinister verleden en komt een hele knappe dokter terug
in het leven van Mouse.
