Story: Based on the true story of lesbian Valerie Jean
Solanas, this film follows her life. She was abused as a child and worked as a prostitute
during her college years. In the sixties she was a radical preaching hatred toward men
in her "SCUM" (Society for Cutting Up Men) manifesto. She wrote a screenplay for a film
that she wanted Andy Warhol to produce, but he continued to ignore her. So she shot him on June 3, 1968 in the Factory, Warhol's studio.
Verhaal: Gebaseerd op het ware verhaal van de lesbische
Valerie Jean Solanas, volgt deze film haar leven. Ze was als kind misbruikt en werkte
tijdens haar college jaren als prostituee. In de zestiger jaren was ze radicale die haat
tegen mannen predikte in haar SCUM-manifest. SCUM staat voor "Society for Cutting Up Men"
(Vereniging voor het in stukken snijden van mannen). Ze schreef een script voor een film
waarvoor ze Andy Warhol als producer wilde, maar hij bleef haar negeren. Dus schoot ze
hem neer op 3 juni 1968 in The Factory, de studio van Warhol.
