Story: Straight Dave, a sexy young barman fresh from Ireland arrives in London and falls for the beautiful, ambitious club manager's daughter Shell and the young, street-wise drug dealer Mile End Lee. Seventies rock icon and now hostess of a glitzy London nightclub Billie Trix oversees the action while the outrageous pop band manager Bob Saunders has his own plans for Straight Dave. As fame and fortune beckon, Dave has difficult decisions to make and he quickly learns that things aren't always as straightforward as they seem.
Verhaal Straight (Hetero) Dave, een jonge sexy barman komt net uit Ierland in Londen aan en valt zowel voor de mooie ambitieuze dochter van de club manager Shell als de jonge, slimme drugsdealer Mile End Lee. Billie Trix, een reck legende in de zeventiger jaren en nu gastvrouw van een opvallende nachtclub in Londen houdt alles in de gaten terwijl de popbandmanager Bob Saunders zijn eigen plannen voor Dave heeft. Wanneer beroemdheid en geld lokken, moet Dave een aantal moeilijke besluiten nemen en hij komt er snel achter dat de zaken niet altijd zo ongecompliceerd zijn als ze in eerste instantie lijken.
