De Leeuw studied at the balletacademy of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, started his dance career with the Dutch National Ballet and in 1998 joined the English National Ballet. He retired from his dancing career in 1998 but made his comeback in 2003 with the Dutch National Ballet. In 2002 he started a one-year study to become a ballet teacher at the Polytechnic for the Arts in Arnhem. In 2007 he retired again and bcame a ballet teacher.

She died of breast cancer in St. Croix, Virgin Islands.

German tenor, born in Düsseldorf as Max Sülzenfuss. In 1932 he married Charlotte (Lotte) Appel, who was Jewish and was aware of his homosexuality. His homosexuality was almost tolerated by the Nazis as a well-known secret. As for his Jewish wife, Lorenz insisted on being open about his marriage, which was taken as a provocation by the Nazis. When Lorenz was away from his house, the SS burst in and tried to take his wife and mother-in-law away. At the last moment they were prevented from doing so when Lotte Lorenz was able to make a phone call to the sister of Hermann Göring. The SS was ordered to leave their residence and not to bother the two women. Göring stated in a letter of 21 March 1943 that Lorenz was under his personal protection and that no action should be taken against him, his wife, or her mother.

Toen Lorenz eens niet thuis was, viel de SS zijn huis binnen en probeerden zijn vrouw en zijn schoonmoeder mee te nemen. Op het laatste moment werden ze belet om dat te doen toen Lotte Lorenz de zus van Hermann Göring wist te bellen. De SS kregen het bevel om hun woning te verlaten en de twee vrouwen met rust te laten. Göring verklaarde in een brief van 21 maart 1943 dat Lorenz onder zijn persoonlijke bescherming viel en dat er geen actie mocht worden ondernomen tegen hem, zijn vrouw of diens moeder.

Ludwig Friedrich Wilhelm had nicknames like The Swan King, Mad Ludwig, The Mad King of Bavaria and The Dream King. He has built three castles: Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Herrenchiemsee. On june 13, 1886, he was found drowned in Lake Starnberg. There are various scenarios about his death: suicide, an accident and murder.
